Hello, this is Ean. Last week, I finally got to see Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them during school on a class trip! As promised, I am going to review it today.
The movie is about Newt Scamander, who is one of my favorite Harry Potter characters as of now (I even asked for a Funko Pop of him for Christmas). Newt has a suitcase that contains a collection of Fantastic Beasts. The suitcase is accidentally opened by Jacob Kowalski, who after meeting Newt grabs the wrong suitcase and ends up opening it in his apartment. The suitcase that Newt accidentally grabs when he is taken to MACUSA, or Magic Congress of the United States of America, by Tina Goldstien, an American wizard who works at MACUSA, is Jacob's suitcase filled with something less dangerous; pastries that were used to try and get money for Jacob's bakery he wants to open. Now they must go and find the beasts that have escaped Newt's Suitcase before the wizard world is revealed to the No-Majs, or Muggles for all the Harry Potter fans, or non-magical people for people who have never read or seen Harry Potter.
This movie is Fantastic! Pun somewhat intended. The movie was great! Some of my favorite scenes were with Niffler, one of the beasts who is a mole like creature and he also escapes in the beginning of the movie. Niffler likes to take shiny things like jewelry, money, gold and anything else shiny he can get his paws on. One funny part is when he tries to hide from Newt and Jacob, he holds out his arm and stands on 1 leg like a necklace holder. Unfortunately for him, he is spotted by Newt.
Another Fantastic scene is when Jacob and Newt enter the suitcase. Now I wondered how all those beasts fit into the 1 small suitcase. This scene answered my question. Like another British device used by someone who is British, it's bigger on the inside then on the outside. Inside the suitcase, there are separate areas for a suitable environment for each beast, along with one area where Newt does some studies on the beasts.
One problem with this movie was some parts I didn't understand what they said, maybe it was because of the theater, the music was a bit too loud to hear what they said, or I didn't understand what they said because it was a reference to something else in Harry Potter. Probably the first 2.
Overall, I give this movie 4 ice cream scoops out of 5. It's Fantastic, but I may have not got some parts.
Hi, It's me, Ean! As I mentioned last week, Pokemon Sun and Moon came out. Pokemon turned 20 years this year. So today, I will talk about my experience with Pokemon.
My first ever Pokemon game was Pokemon Mystery Dungeons: Red Rescue Team on the Gameboy Advance. This game isn't a regular Pokemon game, which is a Turned Based RPG, or Role Playing Game, but that doesn't make it bad. It was a good game. The main story of the game is your character has became a Pokemon. They meet another Pokemon who becomes their friend and forms a rescue team that helps people out. I have never finished this game, but I enjoyed playing this game.
My 1st regular Pokemon game was Pokemon Diamond on the DS. This was fun for my first regular Pokemon game. For my starter Pokemon, I chose Piplup. Other Pokemon games I have played include Pokemon Heart Gold, where I chose Cyniquil as my starter Pokemon, and Pokemon X, where I chose Froakie as my starter Pokemon.
In Pokemon Moon I chose Rowlet as my starter Pokemon. I chose Rowlet because it is an owl Pokemon and one of my favorite animals is an owl. The game so far is fun. I can say the same for Sun because there are slight differences from each game such as exclusive Pokemon. Also Pokemon Sun and Moon are set 12 hours apart.
I hope you all have a great Thanksgiving and a good Thanksgiving break, if you have one. As I said last week, I will review Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. I will be seeing it December 16, and will post sometime after that date.
Next week, I will talk about some movies that are coming out in 2017 that I want to see. I will also have a brand new Monthly Poll, and the results for this month's poll. If you haven't answered this week's poll, "Poll"ease do! I will see you next week!
Hey everyone, it's me, Ean. Since we have been doing "www:] thewebcomicproject", I wanted to do a video game review on a game that lets you create stuff. I decided to review Super Mario Maker on the Wii U. In this game, you can make your own Super Mario levels. The concept of making your own Mario levels is great, and it's fun to create levels at first. It gets a little boring a little later, but it still is fun to play.
The game has a unique and clever way to unlock new items. In order to unlock all the items, you must play the level editor for about 5-15 minutes a day, for 9 days. This is great because it's easy to get items, and you have time to use your new items before getting the next ones tomorrow.
This game uses Nintendo's Amiibo figures, that will unlock a costume for Mario of that amiibo. These amiibo are not needed to get the costumes because they can be unlocked through the 100 Mario Challenge. The 100 Mario Challenge is when you have 100 lives to beat 8 or 16, depends on the difficulty, user created levels.
You can also play user created levels that were made from other people who play this game. There are many fun levels that are made by other levels, like story based levels, automatic, or don't move levels, and some hard to nearly impossible levels, just in case you want a challenge. I have made some levels myself. This is the code for one of my favorites called, Escape Prison With Yoshi. You can put this in the search bar and my level should appear. If you do play it and like it, maybe give me a star. ;)
Overall, I give this game a 4/5. It is a fun game, but the level creator gets a little boring after a while.
I hope you are all having fun making your webcomics, and I can't wait to read all your webcomics, and also show you my webcomic! On Halloween, I will review one of my favorite Halloween movies, well maybe half Halloween movies. I will give you a little hint about what movie it is. Here's the hint. "Boys and girls of every age, wouldn't you like to see something strange?" I will see you guys on Halloween with the review of the movie I gave you a hint of.
